The SeaHag Returns
The small schooner lurched into port on TornOak. Tattered and worn form the search for the Dragon, The vessel SeaHag makes port and her crew disembark, making their way down the gangplanks leaving behind them the cargo still battened in the hold. She had spent the last months in vain hope of finding the trail of the Golden Dragon, the ship Lord Bungo when the hag Scayde had intercepted a dream form the ward of her friend and sister of the Wheel Leigh. The ship had turned course and fought the strong headwinds north trying to return to answer the calls of distress and struck rocks off the coast of a small island west of The Black Capes. It had been another three weeks aground as her crew had to make the necessary repairs. Finally seaworthy again the ship had set sail to carefully make its way home to TornOak. Along with her crew she had carried the person of an elder Sage who had begged passage along with his cargo of books and scrolls, among which lie the Codex Gigas. Stolen from the National Library of Sweden in Stockholm leaving a counterfeit in its stead. The old Sage had expired due to the hardships of the journey and Scayde had instructed the crew to make arrangements to transfer the cargo to the first vessel charted for the mainland. She would be returning the manuscript to its rightful owners at the first opportunity. For now, she was just glad to be home. It would wait until tomorrow.
