The Final Touch

Dr. McAden hoists the large frame and carefully evens it on the nail in the brick wall, just above the small brass plaque. A pair of beautiful, kind eyes stare back at him from the lithograph… He sighs deeply, and mutters. “There… it is done, my love… Now let this city of ghosts become a city of wonders…” He hoists open the lift gate, and catches the attention of a few street children. Handing them coins and a stack of flyers, he peers out into the streets…”Come one, come all….”
