Welcome to London Legacies Gazette - Pip Zarad & Aerial Exonar
The paper now has two reporters out in the city,  Pip Zarad and Aerial Exonar will be reporting the local news and keeping us updated and informed.

pip

Pip Zarad recently moved to the area from Scotland. He is curious by nature energetic in his discovery of a good story. Though this is the first paper he has contributed to, Pip has been involved in the writing of novels and short stories. We would like to give him a hearty welcome to our staff here at the London Legacies Gazette.

aerial

Aerial Exonar, quite secretive about her past, has a passion for writing and is often seen standing in the shadows observing, possibly asking a few questions as she feels the need.  She has a great love of books, and is extremely inquisitive by nature.  Welcome Aerial to our staff.

Weekly Stipends

During these hard times, it seems the Dark Lord is allowing the citizens of London a weekly stipend.  Our sources tell us this is done on Sundays  around 6pm.  But as some of you have noticed this weeks stipends were held til Monday evening.  For now they can be picked up at the makeshift bank, housed in the old jail, located next to the newpaper office.  Watch for the notices on the window to when the bank is open.   JUST IN WE MAY HAVE NEW LAW IN TOWN.  We will try to keep you posted as to the new location of the bank if it is moved.

London According to Pip
Article 1

To begin, I must inform you that London is a very large place. Too enormous even for Pip Zarad’s airy mind to wrap around. But what simple observations I can make, I will make, in an attempt to make our world here just a wee bit smaller and more managable.

First off, it has come to my attention that our new constable was among those poor wretches found slaughtered aboard ship some weeks ago. I recieved a copy of the manifest recently which also revealed quite a few of our usual tradesmen are now no longer with the living. There was only one survivor of the masacre who, conveneintly enough, remembers nothing of the event and is now nowhere to be found. Yet one more unsolved mystery to add to the volumnus stack.

In any case, trade is now down to an all time low, and crime (I might add from personal experience) is up. Every man, woman, and child for themselves. Don’t forget your pistol on your way out.

Secondly, it seems that a newcomer to the area has shown himself to be quite the inventor. A man by the name of Killy with a shop on the west side. His wares are quite otherworldly.

I have also been informed that a new holy man has shown interest in rebuilding the parish that was burned to the ground. God help him with that task. I suppose he feels, though I haven’t been able to speak with him, that our crime rate might decrease with the presence of religion. That will remain to be seen, and depend greatly on we, the population, coming to our senses and realizing our place in this great city of ours. We are the legacy of London, whether baker or beggar, priest or peddler, and must all show the stuff we are made of.

newlawman

Meet London’s New Lawman - Crionis Brinner
With crime at an all time high the citizens are sure to be happy that there is now a new lawman.  Hailing from the America’s, it should be interesting to see if he can bring some law into this lawless city.

Newcomer to the city (as introduced by Pip in his column - London According to Pip)

There seems great concern among some of the citizens that this newcomer may be much more than he seems at first glance.  Giving “gifts” to a few of those he meets on the street corner he frequents, building contraptions and such many have expressed opinion that this Killy is up to no good.  I recently tried to approach him in the streets for learn more about him, but he must have been busy.  We will try and find out more byt the next issue..
