LARPS version 0.22 released

Yep, a brand new LARPS meter has been released. Version 0.22

When you try to attach your old meter, it will give you the new meter free of charge, so you don’t have to visit any of the vendors. Just rez and open the new pack. Your menu gestures will still work.

The mentors are aware of the new features, so if you wish to get the low down on the new stuff in practice, then get to a mentor session. We will be more than pleased to demo and explain the system for you.

More to come as the system is being developed.

* NEW FEATURE: Money. This is Role Play cash and has nothing to do with L$. Your Linden Dollars are quite safe from using the RP Coins and RP Money feature in LARPS.
You can pick pockets (well, try to :P) and Give Coins to other characters for bribes and payment.
PickPocket - You must be within 2 meters of a target. If you are successful, noone knows about it. The target will simply get  amess saying their pockets are lighter by X amount.
If you are unsuccessful, then a public message is displayed to all saying that the target’s pockets are being picked.
GiveCoins - Stand 5 meters within a target to give coins. This enables you to give RP Coins to a character or object. At the moment, you can give coins to other characters and the included LARPS Safe.
* NEW HUD. This is much more accessible and gives more room to the view play window. It’s conveniently placed at the the top and will accept clicks to access the LARPS menu.
* NEW SPELLS:
MuddleThem/MuddleAll - Causes the target to experience disorientation when they move left and right.
HobbleThem/HobbleAll - Breaks the legs of the target so when they try to walk/run away, they move much slower than normal.
SummonThem/SummonAll - Causes the target to unwillingly come over to you. Similar to an enchantment or a collar’s “Yank” function.
* Minor balancing of melee/spells.
* Spells menu has been reorganised a little better. Let me know how it works for you.
* Meter text above the avatar has been reduced and reorganized so it doesnt look too “textual”.
* Improved defeated animation so you dont lay inside the floor.
* New Poisoned animation. Makes the character grip his stomach and fall to the floor kneeling.
