A breath held deep for a long moment as she slips through the darkness.<br /> [10:17] Saerrn successfully performs an expert ability.<br /> [10:18] Saerrn stands before the obsidian tower, eyes flashing with anger as she'd struggle to ignore the images that would repeatedly flash through the rippling obsidian stone. Shaking her head, she'd run her hands over her face, fatigued though she'd rested as well as she could back in her home in London, sighing as she'd say, "Such dfferences between there and here."<br /> [10:29] Saerrn climbs the steps to the tower, focusing inward as she'd seek to calm herself and sooth the edge of nervousness that seemed ot plague her. Standing silent for a long time, she watch the stone, the obsidian seeming to speak to her, whisper to her as a feeling of calmness would glide over her.<br /> [10:36] Saerrn smiles softly as she raises a single hand, attention still focused on remaining calm as she stretches her hand to the obsidian door of the tower, head tilting as she'd stroke the stone; the cool smoothness of the glass stone soothing to the flesh of her hand as she focuses and fights the instinct to fight the Order of the stone.<br /> [10:37] Saerrn successfully performs the skilled ability.<br /> [10:45] Saerrn breathes in deeply as she closes her eyes and draws her focus to her hand, edges of all else around here fading into the background, perceptions of what is thiere slowly dissipate as she finds herself entering revere. Slowly, she allows her hand to simply be, simply slip within the stone, her mind calm as she looks inward hoping to find the Chaos energy that wishes to surge from her successfully contained away for the moment.<br /> [10:45] Saerrn successfully performs an expert ability.<br /> [10:47] Saerrn sits quietly for a long moment, smiling at the coolness surrounding her right hand as she allows it to remain for a long moment within the stone.<br /> [13:21] Saerrn opens her eyes as they are drawn to the obsidian stone, feeling the coolness as it bathes the flesh of her palm, the importance of the coolness of the glass stone not lost on her as she considers its origins being originally born in flame and heat.<br /> [13:30] Saerrn struggles to continue to focus. She'd been sitting for an amount of time she found impossible to discern. Eyes steadfast on her hand where it entered the stone, she focused on her breathing, slowing it as she would slip her dagger from its sheath on her leg. She knew she'd have to be quick if she was to have the piece of obsidian she knew she needed.<br /> [13:43] Saerrn eyes the tower for a long moment, her breathing even and calm, as slowly she moves the dagger forward with her free hand, focusing on both hands as she tries not to give an other outward indication of what she was doing. Eyes gleaming, she'd attempt to slowly slip the other hand into the smooth glass stone, knowing any mistake could cause her grave issues.<br /> [13:43] Saerrn successfully performs an expert ability.<br /> [13:49] Saerrn pauses for a long moment, feeling a quickening of energy around her hands, struggling as she would to keep a cool head because she knew she did not want to be caught here with her hands snared by the tower. Focusing for a long moment, she feels a calming of the energies in the wall and chooses to act and slashes through the stone with the knife blade; multiple directions, multiple movements as she would then attempt to seize the free stone with her left hand and pull both hands from the wall.<br /> [13:49] Saerrn successfully performs the Legendary ability.<br /> Saerrn staggers back as she pulls free form the stone, howling as she'd feel the stone grip and slash at her hand as it would come free, blood pouring freely over the crimson dirt at her feet. Breathing heavily, she would stagger back and drop heavily to her knees, bloody hand enclosing the obsidian as she would tuck it close to herself.<br /> [14:05] Saerrn raises her head and watches the tower, a tower that certainly seemed to be a living creature as she'd watch its Order energy pulsate through its walls. Doors stand closed before her, sentries guarding secrets locked away by Saerrn's own hands.</p> <p>Crimson dirt blows around Saerrn as she sits motionless, a calm on her face even as her body trembles from the storm held within, the hot winds of the Abyss buffeting her body. Time passes in the timeless nature of the plane Saerrn finds herself in, moments here lasting for what would be seen as days within the earthly plane. London forgotten for the moment, Saerrn eventually stands.</p> <p>Crimson eyes shift around as Saerrn turns to observe the creatures surrounding her, their fur covered winged bodies offering what little protection could be offered; a single spreading and flap of her wings sends the creatures scattering as she laughs low. Uncounted sets of eyes follow her as she pads on bare feet down the black stone steps of the tower, her father's chain forgotten for the moment as she begins to walk around the tower. </p> <p>"Mistress." Saerrn stops as she hears a single word spoken, a plaintive singsong voice reaching her ears as the sound crawls over her shoulder. Turning, her crimson eyes would light upon a diminutive creature. Brows raised, she tilts her head as she pauses for a long moment, the unfamiliar creature drawing her curiosity; a nod indicating to the creature that it should speak.</p> <p>"Mistress," repeats the bat-like creature, face shifting as she speaks--at times, clear faces of those Saerrn knows. "Mistress, we are here to serve you, Demoness of Wrath." Saerrn's lips lifts up into a smile as she listens, murmuring as she speaks quietly, "Of course you are." Laughing, she turns from the creature and casts her eyes out onto the harsh landscape. </p> <p>"All are here to serve me."</p> <p>Saerrn stands for a long moment as she surveys what has become hers. Harsh heat, carried by wind across long flats of blood red dirt, strewn with boulders the color of the ground. Large cuts of black obsidian flecked with long streaks of blood red dot the landscape, standing watch over broad swathes of black thorn vine. The land breathes as the black thorn vine ebbs and flows,surging and withdrawing as it seeks to claim what is now rightfully Saerrn's, long fingers stretching to the smoke shrouded mountains along the distant horizon.</p> <p>Saerrn shakes her head as she murmurs, reminding herself of what she has come home for, "What you are looking for is not to be found out there."</p> <p>Turning back to the tower, Saerrn continues walking the perimeter of the tower, hand reaching out to the smooth obsidian stone as she begins to run her hand along it. Startled, Saerrn stops moving as her hand sinks into the stone and is seized by a sense of coldness, a chill that strikes her as she finds herself instinctually drawing on the chaotic energy that fills her, drawing flames to her fingertips as she turns to look. Gasping for air, she staggers as her hand is slammed back against her. The perfect rejection of Chaos by Order. </p> <p>Drawing in a deep breath as she steps back, Saerrn's eyes flash with anger, seek to make sense of what has just occurred. Long moments pass as Saerrn paces, her glance repeatedly going back to the obisidian stone, its silence mocking her as she'd think. Gradually, she becomes aware of a rising chittering as her attention is drawn to full awareness, fingers tingling as chaotic energy dances from fingertip to fingertip. Lips curled up in a sneer, she stands motionless, arms extended as black thorn vines wind their way around her arms and legs, caressing her bare flesh as her eyes deepen to a crimson blood red. "Ysemenqueth is home," she'd murmurs, the quiet voice growing in volume and timber as the sound stretches across the barren rough hewn landscape; black thorn vine slithering away even as its leaves dry and curl, snatched away by the winds. Saerrn laughs, maleovence echoing across the landscape as she steps forward, her father's prison reflected in her eyes.</p> <p> Greeted by chittering creatures as she approaches the obsidian tower, Saerrn reaches out, scaled hands stroking the wings of the nearest as the winged creature settles to the ground in front of her. Wings outstretched, the creature's obsidian eyes meet Saerrn's as she spreads her arms. Shrugging her shoulders slightly, Saerrn laughs as she closes her eyes and wraps her hands around top bones of both wings, membranes beginning to smoke as flames would erupt from the palms of each hand. Eyes opening as she releases the wings, Saerrn would simply watch as the creature would burn and draw in on itself, ashes settling into a heap for a long moment before dissipating in a swirl of wind. Standing for a long moment, lithe body wrapped in a thin veil of flames as they crawl from her palms, caressing her flesh as her eyes roam over the dark obsidian stone, Saerrn watches the naked ripples of black stone greeting her.</p> <p> Saerrn smiles as she begins to see images coalesce before her eyes; images of her father’s memories moving in and out of focus as she struggles to understand what is contained within them. Head tilted slightly, her eyes would gleam as she'd watch a scene play out before her. Six faceless figures surrounding her father--four white winged angels and two black winged demons, eyes filled with intent as they stood silently watching him. Saerrn watches silently, the slightest flinch crossing her face as the figures raise a single hand each; energy coursing from the fingertips of each--brilliant white light from the angels and flames from each of the two demons--energies struggling amongst each other as they would coalesce into a single braid of fire and light, Order and Chaos, wrapping itself into a single strain of energy that would wind around Wrath's body, his struggles useless against the combined forces. Saerrn moves as if to leap directly into the image, drawn short as she feels thorns bite deep into the bare flesh of her wrists and angles, body drawn taut by black thorn vine as she’d find herself forced to watch; eyes unable to move from the images taunting her. Absently, she hears the rustling of wings and scuttling of clawed feet as her father's guardian creatures move around her, their simple lives now owned by her, as they press her forward to the limit of the vines, blood of her wounds running freely over the crimson dirt at her feet. Stiffening as the flesh of bare feet edges onto the obsidian stone steps, Saerrn watches the image of her father tortured by the combining of Order and Chaos energies, binding him as she would begin to see the energies forming into a heavy linked chain. Almost as if the tower itself sighed, she would see and feel the energies as they wind the chain to the black obsidian stone; the chain slipping into the stone at one end and forming a black obsidian manacle at the other, snapping tightly around Wrath's ankle.</p> <p> Saerrn snaps her eyes shut as the echo of the closing manacle echoes through her mind. Finding herself slipping to her knees, restraint of the vines suddenly releasing, she breathes out deeply as the images run through her mind. Sitting for a long moment, she opens her eyes only when the images slow and gradually fade. Crimson blood red eyes stare from her face as she watches the stone, sounds of her guardians and wind fading into the background, as she becomes lost in thoughts. Thoughts that no longer demanded answers. She knew. It was as simple as that—she knew. Breathing in deeply as the ocean spray would wet the skin of her face, she'd open her eyes, deep obsidian eyes taking in the chaos before her, she'd smile as she would turn and walk from the edge, another edge awaiting her.<br /> [2010/08/07 5:50] Saerrn would step to the wooden doors, a drop of a single ring against the stout wood the announcement of her arrival. Breaking the oaths alone will be dangerous, trapping Wrath himself in his tower? He will attack with very little warning. Saerrn would smirk briefly as she'd see the vine withdraw from her. Casting her eyes down the path before, she'd focus her energies, her eyes on the tower ahead of her..<br /> [2010/08/07 6:28] Madame Vedis Seid lifts from the floor as her body is flooded with the power, she sinks into herself, reaching for the small center of her that remained divine, that tiny golden ball that was left from her times as an Angel. It flares as she sinks into it and she shivers as the world shifts around her, she falls into the vision, seeing the fabric of reality spreading out before her. She frowns, remembering the last time she did this. She shakes her head and casts out along the many threads, looking for Saerrn's.<br /> [2010/08/07 6:28] Madame Vedis Seid successfully examines Saerrn.<br /> [2010/08/07 6:33] Saerrn would nod, her face grim as she'd feel the presence of Madame Vedis brush against her. Face solemn, jaw tight she'd set off down the path, her eyes steady on the obisidian tower as she'd feel the whisper of the vines, hear rustling of vines as they would slip away from the path.<br /> [2010/08/07 6:38] Madame Vedis Seid 's eyes settle on a thread, it's pattern darkened with rust colored stains. She floats down to it keeping desperate hold onto their connection, knowing how easy it was to get lost here. As she nears the thread she sees it grow, impossibly large. It's length was soaked with crimson, some spots dryer than others. She sees a thin thread within the cord, glowing wickedly, woven into the strands. She licks her suddenly dry lips and steps towards the glowing strand, analizing it's path, it's hold upon Saerrn's thread. "I've found it..." she whispers through their link.<br /> [2010/08/07 6:43] Saerrn would nod as she'd stop, footfalls grinding into the loose red dirt, drawing her hands to her darkened eyes, she'd murmur as she'd seek to surround her connection with Madame Vedis, a spark of magic slipping from her hand to within as she imagine a darkened voidl surrounding the connection, impenetrable by no one but those who belonged if she were to be successful.<br /> [2010/08/07 6:43] Saerrn successfully performs an expert ability.<br /> [2010/08/07 6:46] Madame Vedis Seid glances back behind her as she feels the brush of the woman's magic, as if Saerrn was actually behind her. Turning back to the thread she locates the three oaths and takes a deep breath and reaches for the first, her power flaring down her hands, leaping from her flesh like sunflares, bright flames of power that would wrap around the tainted thread. The darkness of reality flashing light briefly.<br /> [2010/08/07 6:46] Madame Vedis Seid successfully performs the Legendary ability.<br /> [2010/08/07 6:53] Saerrn would smile, her footfalls soft as she'd move once again, chittering of her father's guardians rising as she'd near the tower, Wrath's figure drawing larger, she would smile briefly as she'd dropped her eyes to the ground, knowing that would be what was expected of her, slipping to a knee as she'd approach the steps of his tower she'd murmur simply, "Father."<br /> [2010/08/07 6:57] Madame Vedis Seid straightens her body burning with the power that required. She swallows hard and looks to the next glowing strand in the thread and steps over to it. Her body shifting as she fills herself once more with the power of the void, She hears the woman's word in the back of her mind, but she ignores it, intent on her job, she must move quickly now that she had begun, he would notice soon. She kneels at the next thread, her body glowing golden from the power, from standign withing that part of her she tried so hard to keep segregated from herself. She pushes the power into the strand, her hair floating about her, sparking with power.<br /> [2010/08/07 6:57] Madame Vedis Seid successfully performs the Legendary ability.<br /> [2010/08/07 6:58] Fiona looking at the man with compassion. Murmuring gentle pharses in Feline she takes a bowl of warm water and clean bandages and sets them close to him. "Easy, sir. Be still." She removes the soiled bandages soaking some that have adheared to the flesh. She washes the wounds, some of them still oozing. "Looks like for got in a bar brawl with tiger.' She says more to herself than to him. Redressing the wounds, she gives him a minisule dose laudanum to keep him comfortable. His body relaxes and he falls asleep. She gathers up the soiled clothes and goes down to basement to get rid of it.<br /> [2010/08/07 7:03] Saerrn would wince slightly as she feel the brush of the power. Eyes focused on the ground before her, she would feel a slow trickle of blood as she'd feel her fathers mark slip from her eyes, flinching as she'd feel a bristle of energy from her father, feeling his subtle drawing of power as he'd look around before his eyes would fall on Saerrn. Wrath's voice would echo upon Saerrn, her wings buffeted with energy as he'd speak, "Saerrn, my daughter. What have you brought to me?"<br /> [2010/08/07 7:06] Fiona goes down to the basement and silently crosses to the othe side of the room, saying nothing, noting that her mistress seems deep in thought. she pours the soiled water down the sluice, getting more from the pump which rattles noisily and unexpectedly . "Oh no, Fiona whispers"<br /> [2010/08/07 7:08] Madame Vedis Seid hisses and staggers across the thread, landing hard on her knees, the voidsong swelling in her mind as she pants. She struggles to suppress it. To not lose herself to it. She lifts her head, to the last strand, her movements were much to slow, the power burning her as she wrestled for control. She staggers over to the sickly strand and falls to her knees along side of it. Wiping the sweat from her brow with her forearm, fear lancing through her at the man's words, she presses her hands to the thread, gritting back a scream as she throws her power into the last oath. So deep in her trance she doesn't even register Fiona's presence, "Aaaahhh!" she cries out as the energy flows down her arms.<br /> [2010/08/07 7:18] Saerrn would rock on her feet as she'd hear, feel the rush of Madame Vedis' cry, power flooding her mind she would grind her teeth as she'd lift to her feet, eyes lifted to her father's. A dark smile would trickle across her face as she would tilt her head to him, "Yes, father. I bring to you...darkness, silence, a void you shall forever find yourself in." Saerrn would straighten her back as she'd close her eyes, bleeding ceasing as her father would begin to realize what had occurred. Rage coursing across her face, she'd smile as she'd see him struggle against his chain. Laughing, she would murmur, "Not this time father. I will own you." Saerrn smiled as she drew upon her body, a glow emanating from her as she gathered all her energies focusing them as they'd travel the length of her arms emerging as whirling balls of flame. Raising her hands, she'd hurl the flames at Wrath, speaking his true name aloud for the first time in her short life. ((cont.)<br /> [2010/08/07 7:19] Saerrn: "Amon, my father, I command you! You shall be bound for an eternity, locked within a void of silence and pain, forevermore." Saerrn would smile as she'd see the flames wrap themselves around her father. If successful he would find himself condemned to a life of silence and pain."<br /> [2010/08/07 7:20] Fiona sighs with relief that Mistresses concentration wasn't broken and goes about washing the soiled bandages the best she can. when they are as clean as she can manage she sets them out to dry. She sends a prayer to Bast that the man will heal quickly and the wounds won't scar horribly. The voidsong almost mocking in her mind.<br /> [2010/08/07 7:34] Saerrn would breath heavily as she would be rocked back on her heals, the energy of the spell spreading around her, surrounding the tower, the obisidian stone seeming to the simple to ripple as she'd hear the father's scream, his words, 'Saerrn!' Saerrn would simpling smile as she'd regain a steady footing, her eyes falling on the slack chain lying across the steps as it'd lead behind the doors of the tower. Smiling, she'd eye the rippling stone, she speak softly, knowing her voice would carry to her father within, "Father. As the father say sow, the daughter shall reap." Saerrn would laugh as she'd gather her forces, her energy once again smiling as she would feel the energy plummeting down her arms once again, energy rippling from her hands and around the tower, "So shall I reap. You are mine. I claim what you have lost. Amon you throne is mine, no longer yours to defile!" Saerrn would throw back her head and laugh. Hands trembling with fatigue and emotion, she'd withdraw her quillpen from its inkwell and begin a letter. "Dearest Leigh, As the morning has drawn nigh, I find myself unable to accept the words you spoke, words I know were spoken with countless time of wisdom. As it would be, I must admit I find myself further confused and at a crossroads. Will I silence my father in whatever manner may be required? Or shall I walk with him and accept what may come? A father and daughter cannot so easily walk away from one another. How might this be reconciled? I've no idea on this and can only see the impossibity of a position in between. Aware only partially of this, she would stop only when she found herself at the base of the father's tower, breath coming heavily in the thick air of her father's plane. A rising chittering'd seem to surround her as her father's protector creatures would draw in close, wings batting the air around them as they'd form a circle around Saerrn; two deep, three deep, she'd only have to guess as she'd find herself unable to see past them.</p> <p>Saerrn would look down to the ground, knowing that was what would be expected of her. Things would be different this time as her anger threatened to overwhelm her, explode, rip her apart. Drawing on her anger, Saerrn'd recall the many lessons she'd had with her father. Rue the day he would that she would choose to use them against him. Anger, power, drawing from the depths of her being, the very depths her father had violated with his accursed vines, she would find herself focusing every ounce of engergy available within her being and slam it through her, allowing it to only find its outlet through her hands. Hands raised, heat and energy would flow, slamming into the chittering creatures.
