Celia Mellison decends down to the room in her new private residence situated on the other side of Cafe De London where she is planning to hold her first class as Vakeva College instructor..she holds the flyer in her hand regarding the class description that read: introduction to action class at 8 PM. She quickly slips into her comfortable outfit which she concluded only to be proper to set the atmosphere. " only 15 more minutes" she murmured looking at the round clock that hang over the wall above the large fireplace. In the mildy warm tempatured room, Vampire's eyes beamed catching the orange coloured fireflames dancing before her that the silence distrupted when she heard the carriage pulled outside and not after too long the man walked up the stairs entering into the room..the man slowly removed his hat holding against his torso " Madame Celia, I will be touring the town as you requested to gather those who are interested around the tavern..as you wish". Celia didn't turn to his direction other than waving her hand delicately yet dismisively replied, " be quick...!" said smelling intensely his heavy alcohol breath while he spoke leaving her with rather regret realization to the fact that her vampiric senses are as much as a gift if one would perhaps see it as the greatest curse of all ...
Elizabetha B. Heartman looked about the room curiously, lips curving to form a smile "I should formaly thank you..." she stated "This is something I've wished to persue for a..long time" she grined and bowed sllightly
Armand Regis walks up the steps as he knocks the door gently, while he peers around and studies the streets, evaluating how worthy were they of his own vission. "This better be it..." he mutters for himself, checking the announcement flyer he had took about some acting lessons
Elizabetha B. Heartman quickly looked off to the side hearing the knocking behind her. She removed her hat and stepped off to the side out of the way, looking over to the one who would teach her, then back to the door.
Celia Mellison has been standing on the brick layered steps backing herself to the entry door when Elizabetha appeared in the distance as she was started to wonder students' whereabouts who expressed their interest. When Elizabetha offered her gloved hand, she leaned forward pressing one hand on her knee while extending other. She shook her hand with firm shake looking deeply into her eyes..Vampire's eyes shone brilliantly when she sensed the voice she could tell her kind, " pleasure to meet you Miss Elizabetha" said Celia "you are indeed in the right place" then she rose on her back hearing the familiar voice; she turns as wide grin spreads drawing her full lips into thin line. " Monsieur Regis !" exclaimed Celia letting Elizabetha's hand free from her grip, she pushed the door wide behind herself " I am pleased you are able arrive safe!" said Celia with gentle gesture that invited Armand into her house.
Armand Regis entered the place instantly as he smiled at Celia's voice then his smile faded as he noted her outfit and perked a brow "A wonderful choise to welcome me, Madame Celia, perhaps I should have removed my clothes before knocking..." he says as he starts to remove his gloves and walks in to the room as if it was his: "very well... are we starting soon? I hope some wine is in order 'round 'ere..." he says looking around
Elizabetha B. Heartman walkes over to the gentelman with her hands extended before her "Elizabetha Heartman"
Celia Mellison pressed her index finger against her forehead looking at Elizabetha's direction momentarily wondering what she thought of Armand's way of personality...then looking behind Armand's back, she replied raising her chin, arching her brow " Monsieur Regis..we shall start soon..I trust it is only proper to give few more moments.." then turning back to her student Elizabetha, " ohh where is my manners..Miss..please allow me to introduce you to Monsieur Regis..". Vampire sighed momentarily thinking he has not changed even a bit..as continued to say " Monsieur Regis..as you see we have one arrival..Miss Elizabetha". Celia was trying to ignore his comment on her outfit knowing that would not really the way to tame his ways.
Armand Regis noted Elizabeth offering her hand to him as he looked at it and then looked at her face "lovely..." he said and with those words he moved away once more, noticing the wrapped bottle in the ice metal bucket "Ah... voilá... " he said reaching for the bottle and taking it out studying the brand as he spoke to Celia "well, dear. Minutes are precious in the art of theater..It is one of the things that makes it magical..." he looked at her and then turned to Elizabeth as he studied her with scrutiny.
Elizabetha B. Heartman sent her thoughts to Celia concerned with Armand. She had seen many creatures welcomed by humans but where she was from, what she was, had to remain from knowledge of those not of her kind or it would mean death. But these lands were new to her, She did not know much else.
Celia Mellison extended her hand touching the side of Elizabetha's shoulder, " We shall indeed start soon" replied back to Armand coldly not by intend to be cold but due to her nature of what she became, her gaze travelled back to Elizabetha when she said, " I trust you will be comfortable with that many layers, Miss?" asked Celia knowing she was exhibiting far more than what is mostly considered acceptable except that this was an acting class..how could she show something that layered upon layered fashion suggested females held oblige to follow.." Monsieur Regis..." said Celia as a matter of factly, " we shall go upstairs where I have prepared for your study.." looking at Armand's back while he was in the process of getting himself a drink..then added
" please " waving her hand towards to steps leading upstairs.." this way please" said Celia after she walked and took the pot of coffee and the two mugs in her hand on her way from the table.
Armand Regis smiled as he corked off the bottle and poured some of the elixir on his glass "Absolutely..." he added, tasting the wine, enjoying it for a while before sighing with delight turning to follow Celia
Elizabetha B. Heartman nods grasping the fabrics of her dress with her thumb and first finger as she made her way towards the steps to follow.
Celia Mellison walks by the bookshelves that held various books in its shelves..mostly selected for specifically Monsieur Regis's interest..." I trust you will feel comfortable here, Monsieur Regis" as she averted her eyes slowly to Elizabetha, " Monsieur Regis is from Paris where i have immigrated from .." she leaned and placed the hot coffee pot on the table then setting the coffee mugs next to it as she added, " i learned acting from observing..however" she turned smiling slightly " Monsieur Regis..he is the teacher and writer.." said Celia wondering how this class will go..
Armand Regis walked upstairs as he looked around studying the acomodations and smiled as he nodded slightly checking the different assets of the room "Formidable, miss Celia, iu 'ave not lost jhor touch..." he gave her a smile of satisfaction "Believe me when I say, sometimes I wish all my friends vere vampyrs..." he chuckled as he placed the glass of wine on the table and leaned a bit to check on the different books. "Madame Celia earned my reespect and I vould not 'ave find the vay to deny 'er lettah..."
Elizabetha B. Heartman places her hands upon the table as she looked around the room smiling. this was the first in many night she had been around someone of her kind and not to mention persuing something she longed to persue. "So.." she began to speak, though her voice was not as alluring as it usually was, she had fed moments before on a helpless soul "When are we to start?" she griened, listening to Celia speak only made her smile more "Oh? Paris? And I agree , I believe you learn more from observing.." she grined though it merely made her think of the way she hunted.
Celia Mellison nodded her head indeed she agreed to the fact they should start and with that she said, " I am pleased that we agree on that point Miss Elizabetha..as you know every profession has its material.." she paused momentarily looking over where Armand was standing then looking back at Elizabetha, " what is your profession, if you don't mind me asking.." asked Celia not so much carrying what she did but to generate the conversation around what is to be an actor.
Armand Regis kept tracing the sides of the books with his fingertips as he heard the conversation as he spoke almost to himself "Using the sense of observation as everything else 'as a limitation... harg work compensates dee ones who desierg to become zee best..." and then he turned to look at the two "shall we then?"
Elizabetha B. Heartman: ""Oh, nothing at the moment." she responded , twisting her torso side to side like a nervous bride. "Besides for observing those in the city.." She looked up at the celing the back to Celia."..its still rather new to me. The city I mean. I've not been here many days I've still not found a place to rest nor mat many that .. I have in common with." she quirked a brow looking over to Arman."
Celia Mellison's eyes shone brightly hearing Armand's comments then turning her face towards to Elizabetha..she leaned on the chair back, " I see..." she said quickly then adding, " well then lets talk about musicians..if you are a musician ..what is the material do they have..?" she paused a moment turning her gaze back to Armand then she answered her own question by saying, " notes..their materials are notes..and they do know each 8 note and how they sound and what each note do in composition..for actors..the material is action..and how the actor defines the action, do you suppose Miss Elizabetha?""
Elizabetha B. Heartman: ""Actions as well as emotions?" she replied though hesitant and in a form of a question."Though one may have the motions, it wouldn't be real without the emotions behind whatever peace one is to preform." she looked down at the table where she was forming little circles with her index finger."
Armand Regis lifted his eyebrows as he shrugged his eyes while looking at Celia as she was apparently teaching and shakes his head as he speaks loud interrupting "mon dieu! Celia, cherie... le madmoiselle 'ere is not a little girl... iu speak of observance beforg, veghi well then..." he then moved to Elizabeth, stood in front of her and without hesitation he swung his arm on an attemp to slap her cheek quite firmly.
Elizabetha B. Heartman 's reflexes caught his hand midway from her face in a tight hold as she glared at him, then back to Celia "Perhaps my words were misheard." she pushed his hand away, I was questioning my OWN answer, Sir."
Celia Mellison's face didn't change when Armand swung his arm with an attempt to slap her cheek quiet firmly. Vampire's attention was on Elizabetha's reaction observing her then hearing her words, she smirked, " very well, your reflexes are sublime" then said, " you see Monsieur Regis just presented what point I was arriving to.." knowing his purpose behind she added, " actors define actions as movement with purpose.." said Celia realising Elizabetha's emotions at display.." you see there was an action that reached its purpose.."
Armand Regis smiled as the lady held his hand and then released it. He rubbed his wrist adding in a low tone "It seems, humans no longer care for arts 'ere in London, miss Celia..." he then looked at Elizabeth as he added "Tell me, mis Elizabeth, why did you stop my hand...?" he asked not as something he did not know, but as something he wanted to hear from her. He turned away to grab his glass of wine and keep drinking as he leaned agaisnt the bookshell again. "he lifted a finger to Celia as demand of silence.
Elizabetha B. Heartman: "Too keep it from hitting my cheek of course." she replied her hands were placed before her with hands clasped together "A reaction." she added, looking at them both with a slight nod."
Celia Mellison's eyes followed Armand's move in the small defined room then looking back at Elizabetha when she spoke paying attention to what she was saying as her hand raised slowly resting her chin upon it as her lips pressed tightly knowing Monsieur Regis's way and not to mention he had more presence in the world of acting art that would not be comparable to hers since he has directed many plays and wrote number of them. She thought to herself, " perhaps she can enjoy his display since she heard it so many tales in Paris and yet her quick departure did not allow her to be participant in Paris. After Elizabetha was done speaking her mind, vampires' s face turned towards Armand direction exchanging a look momentarily which would be read as in she was interested in him taking over though Celia was quiet surprised he was not showing any display of seeing Celia differently..has he not realised her pale look that was graciously displayed...nonetheless this was not the time of that thought she concluded quickly.
Armand Regis waves his hand dismissively "Non non non... it vas not just because your face vas going to be hit... it vas also because it is not something that you vould like... Emotions must not be included in the thought process of the acteur... they are a consequence... oui? le most important thing iu vill 'ave to think is what 'appens in the present, yes?" he said looking at Elizabeth with his usual stoic eyes yet with a smile on his lips.
Elizabetha B. Heartman agreed, though to a certain extent. Thinking briefly on her past love, how a smack on her cheek would lead to lustful evenings with her then, lover. She chuckled soflt to herself as she brushed that thought out of her head. Thinking that past thoughts should remain so, in the past, and she focused on the matter at had. "Agreed." she answered. in a soft tone "I don't think I would have enjoyed your hand embracing my cheeck in such a manner."
Celia Mellison's right foot caressed her left as she was yet again listening Elizabetha's exchange with Armand..she wondered if she really understood his meaning momentarily yet her facials gave away very little as she looked almost like porcelain doll before their eyes.."
Armand Regis crooked his lips as he nodded softly and then exchanged a glance with Celia, giving her a smile before returning to Elizabeth "Very vell, then... I believe the first step is done..." he took his coat over his arm as he looked at Celia "As much passion I 'ave for this event, madame Celia... I also desire to rest from the trip..." he had just arrived from Paris, chosing to go on ship and had come straight to the acting class due his devotion "I wish... I could 'ave the stamina that you 'ave..." he winks
Elizabetha B. Heartman looked towards Armand as he gathered his belongings and stepped clear away from the steps as to not be in his way if he did intend to leave. Her gaze quickly turned to Celia than back to him. "The first step?" she asked "Is..class over already?" her tone was a somber one though it would only be natural, their were other things in the night that would surely gather her attention till the next class.
Celia Mellison rose on her feet slowly while her grip on the leather chair tightened up to the point her long nails digged into the leather fabric. Indeed he has just arrived from Paris. Vampire turns to Armand throwing her hair to the side in the process as she replied still holding Armand's gaze, " ohh no, no ...Miss Elizabetha..class is not over but Monseuir Regis must take some rest.." she smiled this time as her gaze returned to Elizabetha's direction " we can continue upstairs while Monsieur takes his rest here"
Elizabetha B. Heartman nodded and made her way towards the other set of stairs "Rest well, Sir." she curtseyed politely with the warmest of smiles "A pleasure to meet you."
Armand Regis smiled and bowed to Elizabeth, this time showing more manners than when he arrived. It seemed the mere fact of creating a link with him or even just listening in matters of theater and acting was something he rewarded with decency "I asure you, madmoiselle, miss Celia will continue as proper... I only came 'ere to aid 'er with her projecte. He then bowed "Enchantèe..." he said as he slowly turned to the resting spot of the room and moved to get more comfortable. He gave a wink to Celia before sitting
Celia Mellison extended her arm before her touching Elizabetha's shoulder ever gently knowing her cold touch would perhaps bother her senses she immediately retrieved herself then turning around slowly, Celia spoke to Armand, " rest well, Monsieur Regis" then she ascends the stairs leading upstairs knowing Elizabetha was following her so she continue to explain, " you see Miss Elizabetha..Monsieur Regis is a director and with what I was saying before..their material is directing the action..and considering he is also play writer...he does determine the plot and sequences of the actions then the whole composition sets the meaning of play before the audiance.." she paused looking back at her, " do you understand what I am saying?" asked Celia trying to speak as slow as she can knowing Britian tongue isn't her native language thus paying very careful attention to her wording..
Elizabetha B. Heartman nods as her hands returned behind her "I do understand, very much so." she blinked thrice and looked about the walls of the empty room, was more spacious of course, she grined."I met a director." she said with a smile feeling she could get not closer to her goal than this.
Celia Mellison folded her hand before her smiling brightly, " oui " said Celia slipped from her lips without realizing she switched to french then she said " so we spoke how actors define the action, yes?" she nodded her head slowly trying to confirm her understanding then added, " so the questions actors ask, What is the action? why? and How? with respect to an action..when they observe the written script.." she looks around the empty room then back at her, " how do these questions help, do you suppose Miss Elizabetha?"
Elizabetha B. Heartman thought on these questions herself. Trying to place herself on the position of one she aspired to be. She thought a moment, hoping to not get the answers wrong, she lightly tapped her fingertips to her chin "It helps act out ones action and emotion, I think." she answered.
Celia Mellison nods her head, " aye..and what the directors in the school called it as "adoptation" " she chuckled " fancy word...do you not think?" though she sounded like she was asking question; it was her way of confirmation of her self observation of that fact then she continue'd explaining, " what they often say is adoptation is to allow the actor to transmit *invisible* message that could not be put into words..you see"
Elizabetha B. Heartman listened to her words intently as her headed nodded up and down slowly" "Adoptation..." she repeated to her self she had heard the word before
Celia Mellison looks to her eyes with her deep blue eyes that adored with long black lashes.." I suppose I should continue on the parts of this class.." she looks over the wall where the clock hang then looking back to her, " I think we have covered quiet alot.." she lowers her chin looking at her as her hand reached then touched her delicate chin, " I highly recommend to rehearse exactly what happened here in this class tonight..in fact..it be best if you write it down..everything you heard, felt though all your senses..then the next day, I say you get up and imagine you are in the class and act the part of being student.." she smiled hoping she was getting her point when she finally said, " I will be conducting many more classes like this..perhaps we shall enroll you to the college?" asked Celia offering her to become a student at Vakeva College in London.
Elizabetha B. Heartman smiled and nodded excitedly, eyes glittering as she spoke "I would like that so much and would be honored." she bowed
Celia Mellison placed her hand over her shoulder, looking deeply in her eyes Vampire spoke with her melodic voice, " please find Dean Galen Pau...you will be assisted with the process becoming a student at the college. There are many professors and instructors like myself.." said Celia then pausing momentarily, " I believe we shall conclude the class with this.." said Celia as she retrieved her hand back placing over her chest with faint chuckle, " no one expect learning years of practicing over one hour class.." said Celia as she lead the way to the downstairs.
Elizabetha B. Heartman bows respectfully to Celia "Take care" she smiled to her, before making her way out of the building into the night.
