[17:03] Celia Mellison comes onto the stage with a basket of laundry, which she puts down heavily. She quickly places three pairs of men’s shorts on the line stretched across the stage, using her mouth to hold the wooden clothespins. She is an expert at this, the way a good sign painter is an expert at his job. Then she takes a towel from the basket and she stops, turning to the audience, holding the towel in a kind of reverie.
[17:03] Nicholas Redthorne places one clean glass in front of Mr. Tassletale, then moves on to deliver the absinthe.
[17:03] Celia Mellison: "/ “Ye know, a new towel is a wonderful thing. Come on, ye ladies all know what I’m talkin’ a’bout! Now, I can understand why the men are muttering to themselves, because no man can appreciate a good towel. But ye ladies know what I’m sayin’ is true! Only another woman knows what I’m talkin’ a’bout…” says as she holds out the towel to illustrate."
[17:03] Lady amielia: "please sir help your self to the wine"
[17:04] Nicholas Redthorne quietly delivers the absinthe as well, then retreats... to not disturb the show.
[17:04] Celia Mellison looks at the audience “ In’t it beautiful when it’s brand new? It’s so soft and good smellin’.” Brings the towel to her nose inhales it. “ It has a youthful way about it, kinda sassy, but innocent. You men are sittin’ there wonderin’ why the hell ye came to listen to some woman talk a’bout the laundry, but if ye listened for once in yer lives, maybe you’d learn somethin’. See this towel? I just bought it today. It ain’t never been touched by any hands ‘cept mine.” Shrugs “ Well, maybe somebody touched it in the store first, but since I didn’t see it and it didn’t leave no mark, it don’t matter….”
[17:04] Magdalenamarie Pluton takes the glass and sips some
[17:04] Celia Mellison examining the edges, she says “It’s perfect. I never buy those ‘seconds’ with their funny lines down the middle and the frayed bottoms. They don’t last as long. I buy hunnert per coin thick cotton Cannon towels. The thirsty ones. Men never did understand towels. And that’s because they treat their towels just like they treat their women. Here’s this beautiful towel which I’ll put carefully onta my towel rack. And I’ll be real sure that my hands are washed clean when I use it, so’s all that gets on it is water.
[17:04] Lady amielia: "takes a seat so not to block anyones view"
[17:04] Dr. Neko Nacht giggles a little and watches the charming actress with sparkling eyes finishing off her drink
[17:05] Celia Mellison turns ornery “.. But a man’ll come in from working on some greasy railroad for five hours and he’ll..he’ll” she can barely bring herself to say the words “he’ll take those greasy, filthy hands and put them onto that clean, pure towel…and…and that towel will never be the same! No matter how I wash that towel with soap, that dirt gets right down into the fibers. And if I bleach that towel, all the newness comes right out with the grease! And once that towel is besmirched, I dunno, it’s downhill from there. But even though that towel isn’t pure no more, it lasts and lasts, and that man puts more and more greasy dirt onto it, and I bleach more ‘n more of the life outa it.

[17:05] Celia Mellison looks at the audience “ …but just like a woman, it keeps doing what it has to do. Not complainin’, just sittin’ there. Until one day, there’s a hole in it. Not a big one, mind ya, but it’s there. When you point it out to them, they just say” she imitates man’s voice, “So what –lotsa good use in it.”

[17:06] Celia Mellison back to herself “But you can’t put it out fer company no more. Naw, it gets put to the back of the closet, to be used for wipin’ babies and cleanin’ up after the dog. And then one day,..” she shudders to think about it, “you go to get the towel to wipe up some jam that spilled onta the carpet, and…it’s gone. Ye can’t find it nowhere. Ye take all the other towels out, but there ain’t hide nor hair of it. So you ask him, (sweetly) “Honey, did you see that towel, the one with the pretty yeller flowers on it?” And he says,” she imitates man’s voice again “You mean that old faded thing with the holes in it?”
[17:06] Korak rubs his chin a little while he watches the show closely.

[17:07] Celia Mellison back to herself “…And that’s when ye know the truth. Ye go out to the washroom, and there ya see it, hangin’ on a nail, just like Jesus. And it’s just not mildly stained anymore, it’s covered with disgusting marks that ye don’t even want to know what the origins were. And ye look at that poor, faithful towel, and it’s enough to make your heart just bleed!
[17:07] Diannah DeCuir nods
[17:07] Celia Mellison is quiet now, and holds the towel like a baby for a moment then says“And so ye go inside to your husband’s desk, and ye take his thirty-eight, and ye shoot him right through the heart.” she pauses to let this sink in, then she is cheerful again.
[17:08] Korak blinks twice.
[17:08] Diannah DeCuir laughs, then stops herself
[17:08] Celia Mellison hangs the towel carefully, reverently, on the line. “And then ye wait for the constable to come and get ye.” Says turning as if she is speaking to Constable… “ I’ll be there in just a minute, constable. I just ‘ave one more thing to hang out…”
[17:08] Dr. Neko Nacht blinks thrice
[17:08] Alexander von Battenberg looks up from his wine, wondering if he just heard that correctly
[17:08] Zachrid Weandesh puts various tunes under Celias act, he changes them frequently ... the songs seem to merge into each other.

[17:08] Teldon Tassletale remembers to move his 38 from the desk....
[17:08] Celia Mellison takes the last shirt out of the basket and hangs it up. It has a hole in it surrounded by a big “RED STAIN!”. She turns to the audience and smiles, then takes the basket and walks offstage.

[17:11] Teldon Tassletale snickers a little, taking the flask from one of his pockets he looks at the glass, examinig it thuroughly he wipes out the inside then pours the contents of the flask into the glass.

[17:12] Celia Mellison sneaks out behind the curtain to change herself for the dance
[17:13] Teldon Tassletale looks at Neko and takes a sip of the glass, the strange liquid seems to be a mixture of his medication and cider.
[17:14] Dr. Neko Nacht smiles and sighs a bit wondering for a few long moments and shakign her head runnign a rfinger aorund the top of her empty glass
[17:15] Nicholas Redthorne slips up quietly behind the doctor. "Dr.Nacht... annother port for you?
[17:16] Dr. Neko Nacht looks up and smiles "Sure" she says her cheeks quite red already though she seemed to be enjoying herself handing her glass to him and pushing her glasses up the bridge of her nose

[17:17] Teldon Tassletale sips his glass again, "Neko.. I still need my medication... and this just makes it a more pleasent way to take it." he runs his hand over hers and squeezes her hand lightly.
[17:17] Lady amielia: "sighs softly and thinks aboout how lonley she has been latley in that bog old mantion of hers ever since her husband mystriously disapeared she has become a diffrent person"
[17:18] Magdalenamarie Pluton: "Drinks more of her absinthe and notices the man sitting tehre so quietly she raises her drink to him and smiles"
[17:18] Korak takes the bottle of wine to refill his glass - and then looks at Lady Amielia. "Miss..?" He smiles and nods at her glass.
[17:18] Nicholas Redthorne returns with a full glass of the same port as before and places it right next to the doctors hand. He vanishes into the background again.
[17:18] Lady amielia: "yes please thankyou i would love some more"
[17:19] Dr. Neko Nacht smiles and flips her hand over to hold his, her fingers intertwine with his happily and she leans back "She's done amazing hasnt she?"
[17:20] Korak nods again and then pours some of the wine into her glass, slightly leaning ovr towards her and whispering. "There is no need for shades of the mind tonight Miss.. enjoy the night, whatever your sorrows are, they shall wait till tomorrow."

[17:28] Celia Mellison looks at him appreciatively, " I could not do this wihout you and Zachrid."
[17:29] Nicholas Redthorne smiles widely. "And without you, I would not have a job. Go on, shine like the star you are, celia." He turns around to care for the guests again.

[17:30] Diannah DeCuir smiles up at Niocholas, "yes please sir."
[17:30] Nicholas Redthorne nods, and addresses the man next to her. "Mister Miles? More wine for you?

[17:55] Dr. Neko Nacht grips the hand in hers with a soft smile watching Cece sing and lookign and feeling quite touched for soem reason.. maybe it was the port, or the mood set by the tea room or maybe the hand in hers that she adored so much but for whatever the reason the song she sings makes little tears appear in the good doctors eyes and makes her smile brighter then she ever really has she leans close to him and whispers something in his ear

[17:56] Korak remains quiet, watching every move she makes, listening to every word she sings.. and as she then leaves the stage he gets up - and applaudes.
[17:56] Teldon Tassletale leans over and nuzzles Neko, wiping the tear from her cheek, then applaudes loudly thumping his tail again.
[17:56] Diannah DeCuir listens to the words of the song, then glances at Korak, but realizes it was never meant to be. Then she turns her attention back to Celia, and cheers madly, "bravo! bravo!"
[17:56] Nicholas Redthorne steps out before the audience. "Lady Celia... Your audience .... "He gestures and smiles." Dear guests... Lady Celia!"
[17:56] Sebastian Scooter Miles stands and applauds.
[17:57] Celia Mellison returns to the stage, greeting her guests
[17:57] Korak applaudes even louder as she reenters the stage.
[17:57] Diannah DeCuir gives Celia a standing ovation, "wonderful!"
[17:57] Zachrid Weandesh sighs in relief and shakes his hands.
[17:57] Celia Mellison turns for Zachrid, she reaches for his hand as she nods to Nicholas to take her otherside
[17:57] Dr. Neko Nacht claps ehr hands yanking her eyes form tely's she whistles a bit and beams at the wonderful women on stage

[17:58] Nicholas Redthorne hands Celia a glass of champagne, then steps back a little. "Please, dear guests... applaud for our wonderful piano player... Zachrid Weandesh!

[17:59] Celia Mellison takes the glass from Nicholas, smilin at him brightly, she whispers, "thank you"

[17:59] Alexander von Battenberg applauds loudly, looking over to the other table, where the lady seems to be preparing to leave

[18:00] Nicholas Redthorne hands Zachrid a glass as well. "Now, Ladies, gentlemen... Please meet your performers, and enjoy a glass of champagne with us. You have been a loveley audience!
[18:01] Celia Mellison blows kiss to everyone smiling brightly..as the sweat trickles down on her cheeks down to her neckline
[18:01] William Tabard: "Thank you Celia, for sharing your talent."
[18:02] Korak: "Yes Miss Celia, it was absolutely marvelous."
[18:02] Zachrid Weandesh takes the glass and nods to Nicholas. "Ladies, Gentleman and other Genders... I'm affraid I have to retire for the evening. Good Night."
[18:02] Celia Mellison nods politely waving at William
[18:02] Nicholas Redthorne moves around, handing out champagne, and gestures the people to get up and mingle.

[18:03] William Tabard looks at Magda, and says" I think we got a meeting to get ready for."
[18:04] Celia Mellison walks to the Judge's table, she extends her hand, "thank you for honoring us, Miss Magda"

[18:04] Korak walks over in the direction of the Judge and offers an friendly smile. "High Judge Plution.. mind if I say that you look absolutely wonderfull tonight?"

[18:05] Tikko Clip vanishes upstairs to refill the champagne glasses.

[18:09] Samuel Thorne picks up a Thumb from the floor so he can give Celia three thumbs up!
[18:23] Eve Bishop perks her ears glancing over her shoulder towards Alex and Camilla at the mention of lycan and then a comment about herself. She just stayed quiet playing the piano changing to a slower tempo kind of meloncholy melody
[18:23] Alexander von Battenberg: "I can't speak out of experience for werewolves, but I try to value people by their acts and not by their race and appereance"
[18:25] Teldon Tassletale shrugs a little, "Lets chalk it up to magic and leave before the bill for the evening magically apears."
[18:26] Celia Mellison starts to push chairs against to wall so Nicholas can sweep the floor
[18:26] Zsun steps from her room and makes her way to the teahouse area, cleaning and refreshing insenses
[18:28] Nicholas Redthorne whistles while he works. He has collected more in tips tonight than he would have thought possible.
[18:29] Zsun takes off her travel clothes and dresses into her indoor courtasan outfit
[18:29] Nicholas Redthorne smiles broadly as he steps in and blows a kiss in Celia's direction. "Celia. You were truly wonderful tonight.
[18:30] Celia Mellison walks into the room where she changed during the show..she starts to take the customes draped over the chairs..putting into her luggage, she turns with big grin on her face, " I was worried, Nicholas..but all worked out at the end."
[18:32] Nicholas Redthorne nods. "Indeed it has... although I think I need new soles on my boots." He chuckles. "Seriously, Celia. Do you have any idea who that woman was who threateend and attacked us before the show started?
[18:34] Zsun putters around upstairs, finally finishing refreshing the air with the sticks
[18:34] Celia Mellison her face changes remembering the whole ordial..her eyes glares with terrifying look which is very unusual of her sweet outlook..well most of the time, she replies, " I do not know but..I sure hope to know who that was.."
[18:36] Nicholas Redthorne rolls his shoulders. "I am sorry for bursting out the way I did, Celia. But I won't be threatened and attacked that way..... especially not when you are threatened and attacked as well.
[18:36] Zsun looks around, noticing that the place has changed a lot .. she blinks and returns to the Palace ... wondering what should be next...
[18:37] Celia Mellison shakes her head, " nay, you not worry bout that now.." her glaze falls on an empty space, she mutters, " she will regret tis for her life..I assure you of that."
[18:39] Nicholas Redthorne chuckles... but he is also aware that there is more behind celia than her easygoing and airy ways. "Annother thing, Celia. Starry walked out on me just before the show started... when all the guests arrived and the pressure was at its peak. I don't want to work with that girl anymore.
[18:41] Celia Mellison shakes herself quickly, she reaches over her purse taking out her coins bag, she speaks" i will take care of her..you know i should have known better when she tried to steal money in tavern and I forgive her..then she leaves in the middle of an event..I do not believe she is an appropriate one for the job"
[18:42] Celia Mellison hands him the whole bag of coins, " I see you need shoes..and some extra clothing..it is cold night.."
[18:44] Nicholas Redthorne puts his hand on yours when you try to give him money. "Celia. I don't want that coin. My purse is full with tips from tonight, and also from the tickets I sold... What I'd like to get from you is... your trust. I like you a lot, Celia, and I like working for you a lot. One meets interesting persons in this position.... and I'd like you to think of me as someone you can rely on. That will be payment enough for me at the moment... and I think.... I have shown you tonight that I won't falter, no matter how big the pressure is.
[18:47] Celia Mellison tears appears in her eyes, she reaches for his cheek carresing softly, " I do not doubt you, Nicholas. " she leans forward looking into his eyes, " I trust you..I do trust you" says softly
[18:49] Celia Mellison takes his hand, open his palm and places the coin bag to his hand, " you will need this..trust me..you will need tis..!" she repeats herself as she nods at him giving him a signal sometimes few coins just do the trick to get what needs to be done.
[18:49] Celia Mellison gives some coins to Tikko Clip
[18:49] Nicholas Redthorne smiles and takes both of Celia's hands in his. "Thank you. That is... more than I could bargain for, Celia." He squeezes her hands softly, then lets them go. "Come on. Let's finish up here, then go back home... to the bells. Or... " He grins all of a sudden. "Would you like me to go upstairs and do some magic with what they have in their bar here?
[18:50] Celia Mellison chuckles after thinking for a moment, " actually the bath I need it badly, Nicholas.." pointing her fingers to the ceiling indicating to him there is a bath tub for use
[18:52] Nicholas Redthorne arcs an eyebrow. "Well then. You go and take a bath, I will fix you a drink... and then I will go ahead to reopen the bells. I am sure that more than one thirsty dog is already howling at its doors.
[18:53] Celia Mellison nods few times, " that would be wonderful.thank you, Nicholas"
[18:53] Nicholas Redthorne half-bows, and resumes the maitre'd role he had taken earlier. "Then, Lady, would you please follow me... your bath is ready for you.
[18:54] Celia Mellison grins, " you know how to take care of a women..that's for sure..."
[18:55] Nicholas Redthorne grins. "I'm a wolf. What do you expect?" He offers his arm and leads celia upstairs.
[18:56] Celia Mellison takes his arm, as she raises her skirt just above the ground showing her shoe toes..she walks out with him
[19:13] Nicholas Redthorne gestures. "You go ahead. I will bring your drink in a couple of minutes.
[19:13] Celia Mellison nods as she opens to curtain stepping inside
[19:14] Celia Mellison removes her clothes slowly after she kickes out her shoes as they feel really sore after long day
[19:16] Celia Mellison puts her toes first feeling the water, she sighs " ahh it feels wonderful!"
[19:17] Nicholas Redthorne knocks his boot against the stairs. "Celia, I am here with your drink. May I come in?
[19:19] Celia Mellison: "yes, dear..walk-in"
[19:22] Nicholas Redthorne indeed walks in, and he has taken off his coat. He's carrying, in one hand, a tall glass, decorated with grapes, and filled with a cool mixture of white wine, white rum, fruit juices and sugar. He places that glass on the rim of the tub. "Here you are, Celia. What they have in their bar here is really amazing. I am rather sure you're going to like this..
[19:25] Celia Mellison reaches over to take the glass with her right hand bringing it to her lips. She stops and says" don't you want to drink, Nicholas? you worked hard all night.." says then taking a sip of her drink. She smiles tasting fruit flavoured rum with wine
[19:26] Nicholas Redthorne tilts his head... thinks for a moment... then nods. "I'll be right back, Celia. I think there is some of that Chateau Lafitte left.... " He truns, leaves... and returns one minute later with a wine glass in his hand.
[19:28] Celia Mellison raises her glass upon her arrival with his glass, she cheers " for tonight..and everything you have achieved in your short time, Nicholas!"
[19:29] Nicholas Redthorne raises his glass. "Cheers to you.. .for tonight. " He winks an eye at Celia, not really comfortable with praise of that kind.
[19:31] Celia Mellison smiles taking another sip of her drink. She then places the glass on the edge of the bath, she speaks, " so do tell me what do I don't know? I could see you from the stage very engaged with the crowd"
[19:33] Nicholas Redthorne sits down on a bench beside the pool. "Korak is running for chief of police.
[19:36] Celia Mellison nods as she washes her arms, " interesting a man like himself would consider joining constables' office.."
