Vedis smiles as she steps into the Gazette's office once more. The editor leans back in his chair, a wide grin sliding around the moist tip of the cigar.
"Your back." he chuckles.
She nods, stepping up to the desk and pulling a slip of paper out of her purse. "I have another announcement." she murmurs, tolerating his lustful look, "And no, it's not about the Black Rose."
"I gotta get over there some day." the man murmurs taking the slip of paper with ink stained fingers. His eyebrow rises and he gives her an incredulous look.
"The Center for Occult Research and Education?"
She smiles smugly, "I have more talents than just whoring you know." she purrs, her tails flicking amusement.
"What's this place about then?" he grumbles, grabbing a tablet of paper with which to take notes.
"It's a guild for mages, for magic workers of all skill levels. It is a safe haven for those with an interest in the occult. It is a place to learn for those with less skill, and a storehouse of knowledge for those with more expertise. We have several very hard to find occult tombs, many recipes for potions and a whole warehouse of magic scrolls. It is a place of knowlege and learning. A place of study and reflection."
The man snorts, "A place of secrets and dark arts more like."
Her grin grows wider, but she says nothing.
The man scratches his balding head as he looks down at his notes, "You think there will be interest in such a thing?" he mumbles.
She chuckles as she turns, pausing at the door, "Oh...there will be." she says with dark promise before slipping out to disapear into the night.
